Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia is the section of the cemetery where the majority of service men and women killed in Iraq and Afghanistan are buried. Section 60 is a place for grieving and a place for community. Family members meet and grieve with others who have lost children, spouses, parents and lovers. I made several trips to Section 60 during the first half of 2009 to document the people who go there and the place – here are a few photographs made there.
